I would appeal all IT geeks to elaborate what had gone wrong with my computer and how the it was fixed. I examined ‘My computer’ and the ‘DVD RW’ icon had showed up. Later, when I power on, after a few minutes a popup launched at the bottom near the hidden icon (sata unknown disk removed) and heard the similar purr sound from the DVD drive. I shut down my computer as I had to go out for minutes. Enable superfetch to make boot and application speed faster. I clicked on the error to fix it and it displayed Superfetch auto fixing. It showed only a single problem like – error: boot speed slow. I have an USB 3.0 external Blu-Ray drive connected my computer. All new versions of 1Click DVD Copy (including 4.1.1.8) will be compatible with the new device driver, while previous versions of 1Click DVD Copy (running on Win98 and WinMe) are not compatible with the new driver, so users must update their 1Click DVD Copy if they wish to use the new CopyToDVD (version 3.0.49 and beyond).

Today, I used the support center and did a diagnosis. Neither Windows 8.1 or Windows 8 play DVD and Blu-ray movies out of the box. I tried all the solutions advised by Microsoft like changes in the registry, checking disk manager (Under DVD icon TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-208BB which was greyed out, properties displayed error 45) for three days but to no avail. As I Googled for a fix on the web, I came to know that the problem must be caused by Windows 8.1. I owns Samsung Notebook NP350E5C-SO1IN which is one year old.
